What a day–full of sitting.

Today has been terribly uneventful, but you know–not all is lost. I made a very important discovery today:

The internet has some substance again!

I don’t know if I’ve just been looking in the wrong corners of cyberspace or what, but I stopped “surfing” the internet for a really long time because I grew out of my usual sites and facebook can only entertain me for so long. I thought all hope was lost when I couldn’t find a new site to hold my interest. But!

The new intern where I work showed me something absolutely miraculous caallleed Stumble. Basically, it’s a firefox add on that will take you to random sites it thinks you’ll like when you push a button. Aaand, it definitely took up about 3 hours of my entirely too lazy day.

Anyway, I thought I’d share some of the good ones with you:

#1: Rob Dobi’s Portfolio Site: http://www.dobi.nu/
He does some amazing illustration/art work and he has a killer collection of photography of abandoned buildings in new england. But! The real reason I love him, is this site here: http://www.dobi.nu/yourscenesucks. It pretty much speaks for itself, and spending most of my time at a liberal arts college somehow makes me reaaallly appreciate this site.

#2: One More Robot: http://onemorerobot.com/
I assume this is a new site because there is only one comic up at the moment, but I had to favorite it because the one comic that is up there is hi-larious. …I want my own pair of kitten moccasins.

#3: Demon Baby: http://www.demonbaby.com
That link is taking you to one entry that I found to be so beautiful. The “best of the best” from Gothic Personals. But there are a lot of other great ones on there like the “stupid myspace hair awards” where they compare people with stupid myspace hair to Marvel superheros. I know, it sounds lame, but in my state of boredom today it was effing hilarious. Worth checking out.

and last but not least, and this one will only make sense if you’ve been to icanhascheezburger.com (which will be 3 1/2, I suppose)

#4 is Halolz: http://www.halolz.com
This is where I get condemned for being a nerd, but if you play video games, which I do on a daily basis, this is funny. If not, or in the rare case that you did not find icanhascheezburger to be funny, stick to #3.

And that, my dear friends, is all I can give you today. If all goes well, Day and Matt will skip elysium tomorrow and I’ll have actually done something worth speaking of.
